How do you get your leaf springs to quit squeaking it is getting on my nerves. When i get in and out of the truck it squeaks i have tried sprayin a hose on them but to no avail it stopped for a little then started back up. Any suggestions?

i just used liquid wrench white lithium grease in the spray can couldnt jack the truck up at all. FREAKING JACK is BROKEN. but rinsed the leaf springs out with hose sprayed this stuff everywhere i pretty much could. so far no squeaking

    getting there....
use a pressure washer on them, let dry, and spray in between each leaf with a good dry moly lube.

Do you have the tsb? Mine were squeaking pretty badly so I brought it into the dealer. They told me that they installed all the parts on the tsb, not realizing there was a revision to it to add silencer pads. This was about a week ago and I should be bringing my truck back to them in a few days to have them put on. They lubed up the springs as a temporary fix and it got rid of most of the squeaking but it's still faintly there.

Didn't work on my 05 worth crap. Within 48 hours it was squeekin again. Someone told me though it's not coming from the springs but more the shocks themselves. Not sure I buy that one though.

No sorry. The service manager never gave it to me. He just said that there was a revision which were silencer pads. If you talk to your dealer they should be able to look it up.

I just sprayed mine with the pressure washer. It quit until I got it back in the mud. I take it to the car wash after I get it muddy and it'll go away for a while. I haven't tried lubin it yet. It is extremely annoying though.

Mine were squeaking like hell. I didn't take the wheels off. Too much work. I just rinsed the leafs off with a hose, spraying in between as best I could. Shot some random grease I found in the garage that was in a can and had a little plastic straw attachment- and no squeak. It's been like 5 months. Just use a grease that comes with the plastic straw attachment and try and squirt in between the leafs. Just don't do more work than you have too!

Also, check to see if you have any leaf spring shops in your area. They would be able to fix you up for a nominal fee.

I know how embarrassing it is to get in and out of your truck and hear the squeak of the leaf springs.

Get a large screwdriver and use it to wedge between the leaves but be gentle on the paint if possible. Remove the silencer pads(4 on each side) ,one at a time, clean them up and the area that they go in then lube the heck out of them. I used lube from a tube that would go in a grease gun. I used icepop sticks to apply the lube. You probably don't need to but I jacked up the rear to give me some more clearance.

I just did this yesterday with RMBCrew and it solved his to. I did mine like 3 months ago and no creeking yet thankfully. I know how frustrating it is.

A thick white lithium greese. The same I use on my trailer hitch ball since it's water repellant and made for "high use" type areas (friction basically) I tried the white lithum after using some thinner silicon based lube that was previously recomended. I jacked up the truck under the frame to relax the springs so I could get all the way in there as well.
