I have the 6112's set to the 4th setting (2.15 inches). The dealer liked it a lot ha ha. I was glad to see the reservoir clips as well, I didn't want to use a hose clamp like I have seen before. Are you doing the install yourself? If so, let me know if you have any questions. I tried to be detailed in my write up. .

No, I'll get them installed. I don't have the skills/tools for that.

I was going to leave my fronts at #3. Still hoping to get close to 2" from them. Then with an AAL I should still have a fair amount of rake - which I want.

Did you use any spacers for the lean?

No spacers. I looked at getting the 5100's first and the package came with the spacers. The 6112's did not and they are side specific so maybe they compensated the lean with the strut. I don't have a lean. The measurements are even left to right.

image.jpg image.jpg Installed 6112's on the first setting with a 1/4 inch spacer on my pre runner yesterday and gained 2.0 inches of lift. It has settled a 1/2 to 1.5 as of today. I'm happy with the results!

Oh really?? At this point I was just planning on reusing my current 1/4" on driver side. Okay, maybe I won't now...

@elytravis have reviewed your thread- thank you for the detail! Considering the same set up.

What is your overall impressions now that it has been a few weeks? How are the rear leafs, cornering, acceleration, braking. Any harshness?

Received mine in the mail - but have yet to purchase the UCA - so they're just sitting in my basement. I think this weekend I'm going to take them out of the box and spray a couple layers of clearcoat on them to stave off rust.

Can't wait to put them on. Probably next month.

I think that the ride feels a little smoother overall. After a short drive and a wrong turn I ended up on a long unpaved access road. The suspension handled well and quicker speeds through the grooves and dirt.

After the front install before the rear leafs, the bro lean was very uncomfortable but with the leafs added the truck sits very nice with the rear very slightly higher which is comfortable. The truck feels like it absorbs more impact on the road making rougher roads smoother overall.

I originally wanted to put the overload leaf back in even though the setup was made to take it out. After install I am happy with the ride height and comfort without the overload spring. I feel braking action isn't much different. I don't get body roll although I tend to slow more prior to turns and freeway off ramps. The truck does feel like the feet are planted more firmly on the ground with a smoother ride. During a rapid acceleration, twice I noticed the tires breaks loose but the roads were wet and there was no hopping in the rear and traction control kicked in. During rapid breaking, so far I have yet to have the ABS kick in.

I can't say there is any harshness but thats probably due to the smoothness of the leafs. Others told me prior to the rear leaf that they liked running them as they were designed, without the overload, and so far I have to agree. The front 6112's are large and seem to dampen so much that I am very happy with this setup so far.

Hey nice set up. I was looking to get the same tires, (BFG A/T) on my TRD sport double cab short bed 2012. Did you need to lift the truck to put the BFG tires on or no?

No, the tires fit good with no issues before the lift. They didn't rub at all. No issues with our without the lift with 265 70R17.

Got them installed and just adding some info.

At the #3 ring they gave me almost 2" of lift. Hub-fender is exactly 22" on both sides. This is with a half-tank of gas and a 1/4" spacer on the driver side. These shocks are not side-specific. You'll need the spacer.

The Wheelers progressive AAL in the rear gave me about 1 1/4" of lift.

I really like the way these shocks feel. Very smooth. Smoother than the OME I came from. But, going to 2" in the front did introduce the front diff vibration, so I need to address that next.

I used Light Racing UCA's and got perfect alignment with them.

Did they settle down any? Were you able to get rid of the vibes?

Yeah they settled to just under 2", but I'm still fine with it. No rub even stuffed.

Had to install the ECGS bearing. Vibes are all gone.

Ok so I have 6112s up front and they settled about the same as @PoweredBySoy how do I fix this? I'm pretty sure I felt the shocks bottom out a couple of times when I first had them on but they don't any more due to the settling. Can I put a spacer on top of the spring to get the original 2.5 back or different springs? I'm really new to the whole shock thing and I don't really know that much.

Well, what ring are you set at? I'm only at #3, so I have 2 more settings in order to get more lift. One of these days I'll probably raise it.
