Another newbie!

Hey there!

Lately I've been seduced by the idea of the outdoors and off-roading. Only problem: I own a TDI wagon. (I wished it was a 4WD so I could lift it but they don't make it...yet!).

So in looking for a good 4WD truck I naturally ended up looking at Toyota. Let,s face it, most of the world runs Toyota trucks, they can't all be wrong...

But in my area, there is ALOT of rust (helllloooo eastern coast of Canada....) and finding a clean Toyota truck will be hard. But I'll get there...

Can you direct me to a good source of common issues with different gens of Tacomas? I scrolled through a few threads but didn't find any stickies about common issue to look for in a used Tacoma (1st or 2nd gen. 3rd are too pricey for now!).

I... missed those. I'll admit I wasn't too eager to read through TSBs but was looking for a simple thread...

I guess I'll go do my home work! Anything the Tacoma's are know for but not covered in tsb's?
