Another noob

Hello folks, ordered my new Tacoma 10 MONTHS ago, finally got it last night.

Woohoo!

 

Long story, but been through the wringer with a couple of dealerships.
By the way, I live in Westwego, work in Metairie.

 

Lakeside was the start of the fiasco. I test drove the truck there on a Wednesday but couldn't stay and deal due to a death in the family.

Went back on Friday, the truck was gone. Salesman said he found one and made me a deal pending no prior sale on the truck. He called me on Monday and said the truck was sold, and kept pushing me to buy what he had in stock.

I later found out that the truck he was trying for was the one that I test drove, which he had sent to B.R that Friday A.M.

Lot's of lie's later I found out that the truck was still sitting on the lot in B.R. and the other dealer wouldn't send it back to him, because he knew it was the last of it's type in the region.


That's just a summary, lot's more went on.

Ended up back at Bohn Bros with the same salesman who sold us a Highlander last year.
I'm kinda down on Lakeside now.

I only waited two months for my prerunner so i feel like a pansy LOL

 

Now I don't feel so bad about waiting ten years for my Miata. Bought a 95 last year to "play with". (read.....sink money into)
