As promised, this is what I ordered. I'm not interested in making my truck look like a rolling gay bar so this does not have any color shifting lights or halo rings or any of that. Simple HID conversion, projectors, wiring, and the grey headlight sealant. This post is getting scattered, I'll clean it all up later. Better read it all I guess:rofl::evil:

In true millennial fashion, my support hand at work didn't feel like getting going on this fine Monday.. you guys know what that means!!

This sucked. when it comes time to connect the high beam wires, you will notice that it will only install one way. Each projector has them in the box in the bag of included hardware. Be careful not to knock the shroud loose if you have already used the jb weld. I took the projector and put it on my leg (on a microfiber cloth) and made sure to keep the shroud from receiving force. When you're doing this you'll know if it is ready to be inserted all the way or not. My pins on the projector were not bent at all and TRS said they never hear of that being an issue. The plug should slip into position 'A' very easily. Now, go find a body builder and push the plug all the way down. Prepare yourself for the fingertip pain that's about to ensue. When it's all done, you should be looking about like I am in figure 'B'.

The struggle in this, for me, came from the little protrusion on the plug I circled in red. It hangs up on the female part of the plug. If the plug WILL insert to the point in illustration 'A', then it is seated properly and is ready to be pushed all the way in. TRS said I'm the only tard to have trouble with this anyways so jokes on you for reading all this if that's the case.

You should be wearing gloves of the latex kind from here on out.

This is the order of installation on the projector (we'll do the HID's soon)

NOTICE THAT the rubber bushing is already installed on the projector. That goes on first.

Insert the projector into the housing, with the 'morimoto' logo on top. If you're over analyzing the cutoff shield function comment below. I don't wanna get into it and trigger everyone.

Then the 3 prong mounting locator plate, then lock nut.

    I'll leave his here while
I go work on the wiring.

It's time to go get everything set up. We will
Not seal the headlights until we test everything to ensure working order.

Excuse my mess. Here's a closer look. The upper bolt on the radiator shroud is in a great spot. Just trim off the little tab that protrudes underneath it to get a more flat mounting surface so the Moto control box does not bind or twist, which can cause the stress to POSSIBLY break the water-tight seal on the box. Put some teflon tape on the radiator shroud bolt, or some loc-tite, and get it a little past snug. No he-man nonsense needed.

Vaseline on the connectors as you work your way through. There are about three connections to make. Plus a ground setup.

On the ground, I ran a wire from the driver side ground zone right by the battery, across the top of the rad shroud, behind the wiper fluid resi, and into my new ground... now that.

I took a 1/8" butterfly bolt and screwed the bolt in from the back, then inserted it into the hole and pulling it tight. Then a washer. Then the linking wire from the driver side grounding zone. Then the headlight ground. Then another washer. Then another nut to tighten everything down. Headlights have been tested and it all works great. The attached picture is the finished product. If you want more. Let me know. I have pictures for days.

I mounted one of the hi/low beam computers to the wiper resi. Don't try to screw these things into random sheet metal so they can Waller out later on down the road. Some good double sided foam tape works fine. This was recommended to my by TRS along with a few other headlight builders.

The other to the battery. The battery location is kinda sucky, feel free to fight it if you want. With the Moto control unit mounted where I mounted it, that's the only place it could go. It definitely isn't going anywhere, but it's not pretty. I'm a little ashamed of it to be honest.. it can be addressed later. It's not against the rules to make a mount for the Moto control either. Do what you want. This will work, for now.

Nice tactic...I got the 3m 10 pound Velcro for mine so I can just rip them on or off if I need to remove the ballasts.

My friend just told me for the cutoff to be right that the projector has to come back out. If that's true these are for sale lol.
