Alright guys back from where we left off now. The cutoff was crooked as all hell so that's fixed and now I'm gonna go on.

The projectors don't aim properly so you will not use the three pronged aligner (unless you want to use some useless creativity) to center the projector. Put the headlights on the truck WITHOUT THE LENSES and turn the lights on. Gently turn the projector in the housing until you get them to cutoff perfectly straight. Mark it, and tighten the lock nut down as best as you can, but, be careful not to move the projector any. Once it's tight. Double check if you want. I did. Then bake them back together this is about what I used. I would use a little more maybe. If it bulges out, no harm. But if it doesn't.. you may be doing this again

you should try putting the Butyl Tape in the oven around 250 bake for 5 min then lay the butyl tape in one piece around the housing. but the way you filled the housing it looks good. good luck and god speed.

I'm pretty sure I got everything sealed up but I'm thinking overkill is best.

After a fat head of silicone I may pull them back out and run gorilla tape (duct tape
On bath salts) around the seam like you would the cap on a roof.

I did use basically one piece too That area there just had time places where it needed extra as well.

After they've baked on 225 for about 10-12 minutes, pull them out and begin clamping the edges and installing the screws. Try to get the corner where the marker lights are first while the glue is still really loose. I put a dab of jb weld on my lock nut and projector to aid in stillness. If that sounds stupid.. it's not as strong as it sounds hahaha it chips off. Do it.

now you have that going for you, go for the boots. You can do whatever YOU want here, this is what I did. Also, on another thread I have seen the retrofit source guys say they don't even use boots. So...

Fold it up as best as possible. I made two small cuts with a pair of scissors to help it stay flat. Cut right below the small diameter hole like this, right along the red line on both sides.

The HID box is a little finicky with that boot in the way but it goes on. Be sure to have your projectors tight or they will spin in the housing when you put the connector on the bulbs.

That's about it. I'm gonna revise everything and add as I see fit but this is where this train stops.

Whatever is unclear, let me know. I have written most of this while headlights are in the oven or something so it is a little rushed.

Like clear coat? No. Absolutely do not paint your lenses. They can be mildly wet sanded and polished out for years to come. Waxed as well.

Regular beams. No fog lights. Will get cutoff pics later if I remember.
