Fiberglass is done and curing. Used too much hardner on one side and had to buy another tube. Not sure if that will screw it up, we will have to wait and see. Will put up some more pics after the bondo and sanding.

bondo and sanding is going to take you a long time, just a fair warning, make sure you bondo twice, do it once and sand it then do it again to fill in the holes. even after doing it twice you will still see spots you missed once you paint it.

Thats what I heard. I am hoping to get both coats done today, but it looks like its going to rain and will have to put my plans on hold.

You can bondo twice, hell three times but use a product called EVERCOAT for the final light skim, the bondo is too pourous and not a great finishing surface, the evercaot is harder than cured bondo and a pain to sand but the finished product is like glass. Its greenish in color, I've used it on a 1974 Datsun 260 Z that I spent all summer restoring. Good product. thanks for letting me give my 2C

the black is a little glossy for me, will probably change later. Still not sure how I am going to colour match it. I got quoted $100 from an autobody place or its going to be around $55 for me to do it myself. Still waiting on grille.

I got a silver truck like yours. I am hopping he will drop the price a bit if it is sanded and ready to be primed. I got quoted from two other shops at $250!!! Ha ha not a chance, at that price I would paint it myself.

dropped mine off at the shop on the way to work today I will take pics later when i am done cutting my grill. I spent a shit tonne of time trying to find a saw that would cut my grill, then it dawned on me that I have tin snips, so I tried them quickly before going out the door today and they work :)
