DeeZee is precut for them, not sure about LRV.

+1, also confirmed DeeZee mat is pre-cut for the rear d-rings.

Funny - I got my DeeZee from AutoAnything and had to cut out for the D-rings and for a 5ft bed length, even though it says it has a premarked cut line for the shorter bed. Disappointed that it wasn't so, but made it work and does what it's supposed to do.

davelac - I just received my DeeZee model 86964 and it has the rear D-rings cutout. Weird that your's did not have them.

All I'm finding are the 6ft bed options. Can someone point me in the direction of the shortbed version somewhere? Thanks!

    edit:
Never mind, looks like you just cut the long one.
Just ordered the DeeZee 86964 off of Amazon for $55.70 shipped

Exactly, it's marked where you need to cut it. I did mine yesterday and just used a utility knife and straight edge. Took about 5 minutes.

This is weird. I just got my DZ 86964 from Amazon today, and not only does it not have a short bed cut-line, it also does not have D-ring cutouts. I feel like maybe there are a couple different products out there being sold as the same thing.

Maybe the newer ones don't... :notsure: I've had mine a couple of years now and I have the cut line and d ring cut outs

Well I'm a little disappointed. The bed mat they sent me which was marked as the DZ 86964 does not look at all like the pictures of the others I have seen. It also does not have the features it was supposed to have - D-ring cutouts and a cut line for my short bed. This is why I hate Amazon... ggrrrrr

Mine had the cutouts and trim line, got it back in November

Will this fit the 2012 short bed? It says it doesn't on Amazon when selecting exact car model specifications.

Zul - did it have the correct model number printed on the UPC barcode? I received mine 2 days ago from Amazon and it cretainly had the cut line and d-ring cutouts.

Scd2None - I can't imagine the bed of the 2012 is that much different than the 2011, but I don't know for sure. Looks like the DeeZee website doesn't even list the 2012 yet. As far s I know, the 2012 changes were mostly interior and front end. Perhaps you may want to post some good pictures of your bed and let the 2011 owners compare?

It did have the correct UPC code. I'm not sure what happened. I just installed it after measuring & trimming myself... but I'm still not very happy with it. I may ask Amazon for my money back. It looks like one of those completely generic cheapo bed mats. Maybe they repackaged a couple and mixed up the labels..?

For those with a tonneau or cap concerned about rubber smell .. get a Bedrug mat. It's not rubber .. it's basically a synthetic nylon rug surface over closed cell foam core. Tough, lightweight, washable, and is nice to sleep on too! Can also be velcroed to a bed without a tonneau or cap to keep it from blowing out.

Zul, I had the exact same experience ordering the Dee Zee bed mat from Amazon this week, no D-ring cutouts and no 5 ft bed line cut mark (which I don't need). Also, the texture on the mat is very irregular and looks like none of the close-ups posted here. It looks like it was put in an oven for a while and the surface is irregularly blistered.

After too much time on the phone with Dee Zee, Protecta and others, it turns out that Dee Zee has 2 different suppliers for the DZ86964 Bed Mat:

One of them is Protecta LRV / Koneta. If you get this mat you will get it with the D Ring cutouts and the cut guide line for the short bed. This is exactly the same bed mat as the Protecta / LRV 6964 mat.

Dee Zee's other supplier confirmed they don't provide the cutouts or cut guide line for the short bed. Dee Zee couldn't explain how they didn't know that their 2 suppliers provided two different products for their resold part but they appreciated the feedback after I talked to their suppliers.

So, when dealing with resellers such as Amazon and even other smaller shops, you won't necessarily know which one you're going to get if you order the DZ86964 but it may be worth the gamble if you get one at the $55 price range that is the Koneta / Protecta part. I was not so lucky. I am returning mine to Amazon and ordered a Protecta mat from mudflaps.com for $65 (phone deal) with free shipping. It will be worth the extra few bucks knowing I will have the mat I want.

living in Hawaii sucks. Shipping costs more than the mat!

Which bed rug model would fit a 2012 DCLB?
