A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
What the heck is Ziebart and what the heck is fluidfilm? --they both sound like dealer pure profit and BS -- after all your great shopping and negotiating (I read the whole thread) --I can't believe you caved in to this BS! Oh well -- if you are happy with the deal --that's all that counts -- enjoy your new truck!!

My stealership charges $800 for this treatment. $500 is a little better...but since my place was greedy it was easier to tell them "no". Then I found this crumpled up in my glove compartment:

If you look closely at the top UC is "underbody coating." And it appears to be signed off on by the person who probably applied it at the factory prior to shipping. Perhaps it's not the same thing that they are selling at the dealership but perhaps it is.

When I bought my 2015 I went to Ziebart myself and had it done, almost two years ago it was $500.The dealer is charging me the same and I don't have to take the time to leave the truck etc.

I talked to the dealer again today to finalize some thing.I tolshim I just wish they could do a little better.I wasn't obligated to buy asIonlygave him $100 to secure the truck.
So I was able to get him to cover the cost of the Ziebart rustproofing.Illbepicking it up this week.

Trucks are like boats, you can't have too much HP. No one ever regrets getting too much HP.
