Alright here's the breakdown. I have a 2011 TX TRD Tacoma. I am running 2.5 inch of lift in the front and 1 inch in the rear. I have the 16 inch TRD beadlock wheels. Currently I am running 265/70/16 Michelin Ltx A/T2 (They are looking small with the lift). I will not do much off-roading. Only light trails, however I do a good amount of snow driving during the winter for ski trips.

Heres what I would like to know:

    1) What's the biggest tire size will I be able to run with no trimming and no rubbing?

    2)What tire should I run?

I have used the search function but couldn't find anything with a similar set-up and usage needs. Thanks in advance guys.

I love my TOYO MT's. Great all around tire. A little louder than some of the other options on the road but give a great look to your tire set up. Do you plan on changing wheels? or adding spacers? you can fit I believe a 285/75/16 if you run spacers

ArcherTaco: Well, I like my wheels but was contemplating a 17 inch wheel instead. Probably leaning towards keeping my current ones right now. I have seen quite a few people running the TOYO MT's so I am definitely looking at those. Will I need spacers for 285/75/16 just so I wont rub the UCA's?

Too poor to list anything interesting.
    1) http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/130569-show-your-2-5-lift-tire-size.html

Run either 265/75/16, or if you want 33s 255/85/16.

    2) Tires, that's all your preference/need/budget

Greeneggsnspam: Will the 255/85/16 still preform well in snow? I wasn't sure just because it is a more narrow tire.

Exactly. you may rub a little at the cab mount but I don't think you will rub if you take the flaps off the front. I run 285/70/17 and don't rub unless I beat on it and that should be really close to the 285/75/16.

I run 285/75/16 KM2's with 2.5" up front and 1.5" in the rear with no issues. I did rub every once in a while on the front air dam when in reverse, although your '11 has different inner fenders and may have other issues.

Do you think I would rub the UCA's with 265/75/16 's and no spacers?

I have 265/75/16s at stock height. I removed the front flaps. No rubbing except offroad if I really stuff the tire.

The only issue i see with 255's is the lightest tire ive found is d rated (about 50#) where u can still get 265 in c rated or p rated

Alright last question. Right now the rear is sitting almost exactly 1 in lower than the front. I am trying to decide if I would like to lift the rear 1 or 2 inches. 1 in would be dead level and 2 in would be 1 in high in the rear. I am only going to run 265/75/16 so I don't want the tires to look too small. Just thought I would get opinions.
