If anyone could offer any assistance, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I bought myself a new stubby antenna for my '08, and while I was at it, decided to buy a new rubber bezel since my old one was fading to a light grey from sun exposure.

I unscrewed and removed my old antenna, easy enough, and next attempted to unscrew the nut holding the bezel down. I was able to do this by simply gripping it with some pliers and using enough pressure to get it to turn.

Ever since, I've been attempting to unscrew it, and I've made probably about 50 full turns, but it doesn't seem like the thing is actually unscrewing any.

What can I do from here to get this nut off? Please, and thank you.
