That could be. But my drivers side looked fine and I did have them apart before to install spindle gussets and when I put them back in I used new CV axle seals on both spindles. I'm going to say it's all the water crossings and the stress of the larger tires that caused the failure. I'll just figure on replacing them every 45k which for me is like every 10 years LOL

Those were the same exact symptoms I had on my bike when I was blowing through bearings too. Good to know it seems like it applies to both two and four wheels.

Damn that's sweet, wish I got that outta mine. Yeah they were bad now I know how long they last on my truck I"ll make sure to do a better inspection on them as the time approaches.

Which gussets are you speaking of?

Thanks mang! Looking forward to using it. Got a couple projects lined up where it will come in handy.

I have the miller 211. It is 110 or 220V depending on what you have available you just have to swap out the plugs. I recently finished running a 220V line in my new house for it so now I run it on 220. It did up to 3/16" on single pass on 110 but now I can do 3/8" on 220V.

    Here's a shot of Craig's crossmember I did on 220, 1/4" angle iron melted pretty good :D

Worked today on getting the 220V electrical ran for my compressor. My house had both electric and a hot water heater and I no longer use the electric hot water heater, so I disconnected it and spliced in a junction box to run into my garage. I did a similar method for my welding 220V line, but I used the dryer line since I now have a gas dryer and no longer need the plug in the laundry room. 10/2 wire should be good for 30 amps I believe I that will be sufficient for the compressor.

Left is the line for the compressor (10/2 wire) and the right is the line for the dryer (10/3 cable)

Ran the line into to garage, then I will hardwire the compressor from there or maybe install a line disconnect for safety measures

Stopped at the local junkyard and picked up some chevy 63s, gonna need some new bushings but they are in pretty good shape

Hope to get the compressor transported over next week and finish that up.

10 wire is good... Disconnect isn't necessary if the breaker box is in line of site which I'm assuming it isn't
