Nah I won't be at big dogs. We will meet up at some point. I want to go to rausch creek, while I visit my sister in Philly. But I need to get close to finishing my '87 before planning that.

You don't know how much that sucked.

We got very lucky - all the more reason I prefer wheeling with this group more than anything.

It's a good feeling knowing you've got knowledgeable partners that are there to lend a hand.

We got Ant back up in a couple hours.

Ah ok, yeah man when you head up this way we should def hit up Rausch. I'm only 20 minutes from Philly we could convoy up there.

    Troof

Yep it was like having our own personal tacoma pit team

It never actually fell off, I was going about 5 mph when I noticed it was no longer connected to the hub lol

Yep, for me and for you. If I died you would have nobody's build thread to shit on so you'd be pretty bored :D

Here are most of the pictures I have from URE this past weekend. I stole a few from Steve and Homer :anonymous:

Met up with HomerTaco in PA on Thursday and then we made the treck down

Had a small hiccup with a CEL for random engine misfire on the way down so we stopped to check the spark plugs and coil packs and found no problems so after we reassembled there was no more issues, I'm hoping it was just a loose connection. Also while I pulled over my rear drivers side wheel fell off, all 6 lugnuts were gone and 2 studs were sheared off

I had torqued all the wheels at the same time so I'm not sure what caused this to happen as none of the other lug nuts were loose but we stopped at a local napa and pressed in 6 new wheel studs and borrowed some lugs from the spare tire carrier and other wheels and we were back on our way in less than an hour

New shock setup works perfect with 12" shocks, as the springs hit the bumpstops I have about 1/4" of shock shaft showing.

At the top of Dickie Bell we found this group of locals that had flipped over their UTV and were trying to flip it back over by hand. David and Lurry helped them out and flipped em back over in a few minutes with a snatch strap.

Wish I would've known you all were at Chesdin. I would've rode down for BS around the campfire, it's only 45min from the house.

    True

Yeah like Craig said it was a last minute thing and b/c of traffic we didn't even get down there until around 9pm or so and I don't think Josh got down there until closer to midnight. We'll have to catch up another time tho for sure.

    Thanks!

Yeah it was a pretty epic trip, most of the trails weren't super challenging but the views and scenery was amazing.

Exactly, like people's wheels falling off, there was an audible called on the side of I-95 with a hi-lift jack sticking out in the lane trying to fix my truck  :bananadead:

They are awesome! Except the fact that I can't see my gauges and every inch of my cab is coated in dust from the last wheeling trip LOL. One of my favorite mods so far, something about driving around with open doors is just damn nice.

Yeah that's one thing I didn't think of so I kind of lost the stereo capability  I just use a small rechargable bluetooth radio that I use for camping and jam that on the dashboard it gets loud enough to hear on the road still.

    Build thread in sig...
some small wakeboard wpeakers would work well.

they already have the tube clamp built in. beyond being waterproof, they take a heck of a beating, relatively inexpensive, and since they're designed to be heard by a wakeboarder 50 ft behind a boat, you know they'll be loud enough.
