Looks like you spent some time wiring this weekend also. Not my favorite thing but I just put on a book in my earbuds and take my time. I try to map everything out well before hand. It works most of the time.

yep, maybe 2 hours to get that wired up. I enjoy doing it, some may call it crazy haha. Always helps to have a plan and in advance to lay out, I usually draw up a schematic and wiring diagram to make it easier for me.

In fact, all the wiring on my truck is drawn out on a couple of sheets of paper, I keep a copy of it in my glovebox in case an electrical gremlin decides to strike.

Ah now that's a handy idea. I mostly tend to draw it out in my head then sit down and write up a material list. I can deffinately see where having the schematic may come in handy. I have done my best to keep it fairly simple and each circuit has a fused relay. I don't have a need to add much if anything more although I do have the switch for the ABS kill mod. If I decide to do much of anything more I will have to look into a relay panel or an SPOD type setup. I got the extended brake lines on finally so if it warms up enough next weekend I may tackle removing the rear spring perches and install the Hammer Hangers. Getting the rivets out will be about the only pita I may try the plasma but not sure just how handy it will be in that circumstance.

    Where's the blue bomber?

Shit having drawn schematics in the truck is a really good idea...

    I thought so too!

you got that right! Also changed my cabin air filter while I had everything apart, had about half pound of pine needles in the old filter haha. And the leather shift boot for the trans shifter hasn’t been installed since I had first put in the crawl box, turned out half decent by just cutting a slit in there for the crawl box.

Finally fixed my abs light after 5 years lol. Turns out the harness had an open in it by where it’s routes on the steering knuckle. Verified the location with a TDR, then cut out the bad section and spliced in a new piece of wire. Cheap fix compared to a new speed sensor.

Well not much has been done to the taco, but have been busy knocking out a few house projects over the last couple weeks.

Built a horseshoe pit, just in time to break in for the 4th of July weekend. Need to practice a little more, been a few years since I've been serious with playing but I love it. Made it with a few pressure treated 4x4s (which apparently are rare to find nowadays up here in the northeast due to this goddamn virus), driven in with #4 rebar.

Another project I've been meaning to knock off the list was mounting an air reel to the lift. No good existing mounts were present so I had to get a little creative and make my own bracket and source some longer bolts

Got all the copper cut to size, I'll solder it tomorrow when I move the Ferd out of the lift bay, then this project will be complete
    IMG_6573.jpg

Sadly, the poor taco has been neglected. I drove it today to go take some trash out, and realize that I must have an A/C leak. I charged it a few months ago but now the compressor isn't engaging again. Guess I need to get a black light and see where it's leaking, hopefully it's something simple like an o-ring or a hose.
