Any 2008 Tacoma owners??

Hello, i have a friend who just purchased a tacoma for about 2000 under msrp. I believe it was around 22,XXX. I looked briefly if this question was brought up so excuse me if im redundant. How much did everyone pay for their trucks. she has the 4x4 six speed 4.0 with an access cab. Also she has a bed liner and some sort of package. i know it wasnt the tow package.(excuse me for being vague.) Some owners if you would please post if the deal she got was good because she was supposed to get it from a good friend of hers. he said he personally made only 50 dollars off the deal so any insight would be greatly appreciated. thank you! It would help if you could find out if she has the TRD Off-Road package, the TRD Sport package or some other regional package.

She doesnt. its a 6 sp v6 with access cab. no tow package.

 

Can't help you with the 2008 numbers, but I got mine for $2,737 below MSRP. I also have more options than you are saying she has, so more than likely there is more mark-up in my options than hers, so my truck could be discounted more. Seems like she got an alright deal, though I suspect her "friend" could have done a little better still.

My truck is a 2007 access cab, 4.0L v6 4wd with DZ (six disc changer, 6 speakers, and steering wheel controls), OC (TRD Off-Road package and all that comes with that), TO (v6 towing package, which is a class 4 hitch, suplimental oil cooler 130A alternator, heavy duty battery, and fully functional 7 pin connector), CF (carpeted floor mats and door sill protectors), and a really nice dealer installed pin stripe.

Sticker on all that was $28,739 plus tax and tags.

Invoice on that according to Edmunds.com was $26,001.23 (after you add in the $330.00 TDA (toyota direct advertising) fee which is on the invoice of every new vehicle but edmunds does not include it)

I paid $26,001.23 for my truck less my trade, plus tax and tags.

 

i just got a 4cyl 2wd access car with automatic transmission and mine was $22,000something after everything.

 

well i just got mine last week. the sticker on mine was 31,059.00 and i paid 30,000 even.

 

Hey I have a 2008 dbl cab, 2 wheel drive, sport sup. pakage, tow pakage. I got mine about a month ago for 25,500, the sticker was almost 28,000 after about 4 hrs of going back and forth with the dealer i was able to get it for 27 out the door and thats what i planed on getting it for.

 

I'm feeling pretty good! I got a 2007 Double Cab 4X4 with Offroad and Tow package JBL Sound system, and a custom topper & bed pad for $26K even.
