Any 2nd Gens running the 34 x 10.5 x 17 KO2

hmmm, i do have my stocker 17s sitting for spares....

I think they measure small. I test fitted one a few months ago. If I recall they were not much more than 32" when mounted, and yes I know tires don't truely measure up to the listed size, especially when mounted but these really came up short. Just fyi

Wish I had taken pics with tape when I test fitted. I know I was disappointed in actual mounted height for a "34". I know it's a "heep" forum but they're guys claiming 32"-32.5" in mounted height. Just food for thought. It's a lot of coin to spend if you're getting something that's not up to what you want. That's why I usually test fit a tire before a purchase. I'll even give the guy $20 just to try on. It beats spending $1400 plus and not being happy shortly after.

I'm not super disappointed though , if I could get a snowflake rated tire slightly larger than my current 275/70/17's that doesn't add any rubbing that is perfect

 

All that being said it is a nice looking tire. I just didn't pull the trigger at the time because I was hoping/wanting a little more height. Still looking at tires and still undecided. I may test fit a 305 in the Ko2 soon.

 

So essentially these are slightly larger in diameter than 285's, but not as wide? I would like to run something bigger than my 255's once I need new tires.

 

They are basically a 265/80/17

 

So they might not require a cab mount chop? Why aren't they more popular?

 

I keep eyeballing these tires, but I also kinda want to go down to a 16" rim.

 

Anyone have these mounted with a real life measurement? (Height).

Looks like I'm holding on to the truck for another winter. 90% sure I'm going with the KO2s... Just can't decide between the 34s or the 285. With the 4.75 bs wheel I have I do like the look of the wider 285 but I also prefer the lighter D load of the 34s. If the 34s actually measure a decent height I could always add 1" spacers to achieve that wider stance look. #%^+*$ tire purchasing time kills me

I spend more time researching n analyzing tires than I do buying an actual truck ffs

 

Sorry to disappoint. 32.5" tall and 10.5" wide. They are taller than my old 275/70r17's tho. Wish i took measurements on those before I replaced them
