Any Clearance Issues 34x10.5x17?

Yes, this is the correct size in the title, 34x10.5x17. This will be one of the sizes coming this Spring for the new BFG AT KO2. I’m due up for tires, wondering if I will have any rubbing or clearance issues on a 2nd Gen with 3” lift. Currently have 265/70/17 BFG KO’s on a Pro Comp 7089 and decided I will be moving up tire size. Have not done a Cab Mount Chop mod yet, but not willing to do nothing much more drastic than that. Still considering 285’s, but this new size has me wondering. Its 1” taller and 1” narrower than a 285 tire. Any thoughts?

Yep, you will def rub. Plan on some rear fender wall rubbing. I don't think even a bfh is going to give you enough clearance.

That size is essentially 265/80/17

 

i might rethink that size then. the 255's look slim to me and these are an inch taller

I recommendation, if you're not willing to cut and chop more than the standard cab mount, stick with 285/70/17. It'll be less of a headache and it's a tried and true size. Anything taller than 33" will require more clearance work.
