Read up here (2nd gen thread but same same) Consensus - If you're not going to take the "OFF ROAD" labeled truck off road, then buy the leveling kit. If you plan on doing some technical off road stuff.... buy 5100s for $100 more you'd be essentially doing the same thing and getting better performance and ride quality.

Did it noticeably alter freeway/highway handling?

    What he said.

You can get 5100s for the same price and air bags for a little more if you have added weight in the bed

ride quality is really subjective and it means different things to different people

i have a truck. it rides like a truck.

if you want a BMW or a Cadillac or something that feels like it's on rails, buy that.

if you plan to go off-roading and doing some technical things, get something else. spend at least $2-3K at a minimum.

if you are going down some old logging roads or to the lake fishing, this set-up is adequate.

The Bilstein 5100 gives you the same lift? Wanna get slightly bigger tires as well.

My dealer installed it. Rides just like it did before installation.

    Like I said, love it.

If you want to impress the forum, get some 5100's or some ICON's, maybe some stage 4's a whole new leaf pack, cab mount chop, new control arms, maybe some air bags.

You won't find too much love on this forum for the ReadyLift kit. It's not "manly".

Ok but there’s little performance gain in a leveling kit

The kit is a perfect fit for your truck. Allows for bigger tires and really makes the truck look better.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Yeah. I have been offroading all over arizona for years with $1100 worth of ARB suspension with a 400 lbs flatbed. He DEFINITELY has to spend $3000. Hell make it $300,000 he can race the Baja 1000

All I wanna do is fit slightly bigger KO2 and not scrape as easily while annoying the “uber-righteous” wheelers at Holy Jim’s Trail

If you go off roading one Saturday a month, get that kit. If you go every weekend and or plan on ever getting a tire off the ground multiple times a day, that kit won't work.
