Yeah I have zero room because of my sub the 2 12" subs are worth the less space because driving is more enjoyable

Shouldn't be any different if it's properly setup. I have read that the best is down firing in a truck due to the limited cab size.

I went this route. I didn't want to lose ANY cabin space so I ordered a unit that would fit under my seat. Not only does it not take up cabin space, but it's also hidden from would be thieves as well. After reading a bunch of reviews and measuring a million times, i ended up with this....

    https://www.amazon.com/LOPRO10-1200-watt-Amplified-Subwoofer-System/dp/B001CY13W2

It does not compare to a ported box, but I wasn't looking to win any competitions. It does a great job of adding much needed lows/bass to the stock stereo though and I was actually REALLY impressed with how well it works for such a small package.

IMG_1894.jpg I'm running a full system with 2 amps and 2 10 inch kickers. I have a basic rectangular box that sits behind the driver seat in my extra cab and you can still use the passenger side rear seat. I would like to have a different box but mine works fine. With a dynamat there's more than enough bass in the truck.

The compressor switch came with the compressor. The switches are just basic dorman rocker on off switches. You can get them at any auto parts store.

I use all of my extras every trip. Very happy with my current set up but there's always ways to improve. The scan gauage was one of my first purchases and it's a great tool. I like to be aware of my trucks vitals just in case something is off I can save the truck or prevent a failure

Yeah exactly because it's displays your trans temp correct. Plus your mpg is always good to know so you can lean off the gas less lol. Or know to waste more gas. Im thinking of purchasing one and placing it where my storage bin is under my stereo. Its plugs into your truck easily ?

As far as install it's the easiest thing in the world. You have to do something to the scan gauage to get trans temp but it's not hard.

My younger brother and i installed one of these a over the summer and after 2 weeks it was hardly noticeable anymore. They fit perfect under the seat though. We are pulling it out and installing 2 8's here in the next couple weeks.

Extra cabs do boom a lot with subs. I started with one 12” and it was loud. I later swapped with my bro cause he needed more space so now I have two 12”s and they really boom.
