Just got myself a 2004 Toyota Tacoma crew cab short bed and I need a roof rack for over the cab. Does anybody have any suggestions on any good ones for an overland style build?

If you wanna be a big baller with overland scene points, look no further than this $699 beauty (before taxes & shipping):

    https://prinsudesignstudio.com/product/toyota-1995-2004-double-cab-tacoma-prinsu-cabrack/

If you want just the basic crossbar roof rack that doesn't require putting holes in the roof of your cab, check this out:
(overland top tip, if you put a basket ($105ish) on the crossbars ($160ish), it's overland AF)

OR... you can go with the 4runner roof rack very cost effective, looks factory, and is super functional. Your cost will vary, mine was free, yours might be $20-50 at a pick n pull:

In all seriousness, the prinsu rack hands down wins for accessory mounting. The crossbars with the basket is super functional for the cost but will sit a little high. The 4runner rack is IMO the best way to go if you can get your hands on one. It's cheap, it looks OEM, it's functional, and you can still put a basket or whatever else you want on it.
