hi Liam new to this TacomaWorld site but iam in need of a little help or advice MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WITH TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AT THE SAME TIME WAS WONDERING WHAT IT COULD MEAN ANY HELP AOR ADVICE TIPS . THANKS

 

go to your local auto zone and ask them to run the codes for your check engine light and see what code you get, then search the code and see what it means.

 

thanks i think i will go the auto zone its around the corner anyway. hope its nothing bad or big but i did put a K&N Airfilter in recently hope its not that thankfully i have the stock one ..

 

thanks similar issue with my Nissan too years back.. if i replace it with paper with the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRACTION CONROL LIGHT RESET?

 

disconnect the battery for 10 minutes after you put the stock filter and clean the maf sensor, and that will reset your code. if it comes back you have a different issue.

 

Hi it's me again I had the problem with the check engine light and traction control light ,,, check this out I let it sit for about half a day I drove it to work about 40 miles just cursing and by the time I got to work the light disappeared and has been off since go figure . Good news.
