    Seems like my camera is dead. Won't turn on. Isn't recording.

    Power cable is hot; checked for power with the truck on and off; it's live.

    Any ideas?

    Found a way finally to install the cam using the GoPro mount. After having my windshield tinted, I hated to stick it straight to a $200 piece of film lol. Anyways, works just fine and I don't think itll get near as hot in the sun now which makes the lense detach from the inside.

    Don't ask why it's so ugly, lol there was some adhesive remover involved that may have been a bit too strong.

    Can I ask why you want a turn by turn navigation unit? The interfaces are terrible, the map updates are slow if ever, don't get traffic updates, etc. Why not just use Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, or even the dedicated Garmin apps (so you don't need any cell phone coverage to navigate) for iOS or Andriod all are far superior to stand alone units.

    Ok I understand, I doave a gps unit, I just thought if I was to get a dashcam I would want that all in one, like a gps system and have dash. Now I know where you are going I think. Having the WiFi will not work well. I do not own a iPhone, just have a pre.pay phone for emergency,s. So I will just use the gps unit I have already and just add a dashcam if needed, thanks for your interest and advice
