I'm in the process of negotiating for a GB for the ScanGauge II, I'm trying to get it as low as $149 shipped, but I can't promise that yet. Cali residents will need to add tax to the total though. More info about the ScanGauge II can be found at scangauge.com. If you're interested, please reply to this thread, thanks.

I really like my Scangauge II. It's a great tool for watching your engine performance or entertaining numbers junkies!

So, this just plugs into the diagnostics port? Where is that on the 2nd gen Tacos? I'm not sure I'm in but I'm having a problem passing up a good deal.

I'm curious how it knows your mpg. I'm assuming it's reading the speed or tach or something to get it but if you put on bigger or smaller tires it won't know any better than your speedo knows. Right? Just curious about the functions.

The port is under the dash near the hood release lever. The Scangauge won't "know" if you've changed tire size but you can calibrate it to read correctly for whatever you're running.

That's cool... I found the pdf for the manual.. lots of settings. Makes a programmer proud... trying to resist the urge to jump in... but it's not easy... I like gadgets and especially ones like this... ugh... time to save some $$.

The $149 price looks like a no go, the vendor I'm talking with might lose his account with SG if he sells it for that price. I'll see if I can get him to go with $159 or maybe better. I'll keep everyone updated.

SG is still having problem integrating the tranny and oil temp gauges into the SG2 and it sounds like it'll be sometime before they do.
