    Hi,
I remove these by booting up using a Boot Cd and then cleaning the hard drive from there. Here is a link to one of the available tools.
    http://www.techmixer.com/free-bootable-antivirus-rescue-cds-download-list/
If you have access to another computer you can make this CD.

By the way, there are some anti-virus that "Quarantine" an .exe file if it is infected with a virus. An antivirus might not be good enough to "clean" out the file and leave the executable still working. This can include explorer.exe. This could remove most of the virus but leave your OS unusable. You would then need to "repair" (a type of re-install) your OS and re-patch it to get things running again. So if it is cleaned and still does not work then you need to repair your OS.

You might think about just recovering your documents and reinstalling the OS and applications from scratch.

    Good Luck,
    Phil

Thanks for some of your tips.

Unfortunately, when I booted back into safe mode, I couldn't even log into any of the users on the "Welcome" screen. It would load up for a split second, and go straight back to the welcome.
Me and my dad tried reinstalling windows, and that seemed to of cleared everything up, except NOW the wireless driver isn't showing up in the network connections or driver list. Any idea on how to fix this? I don't know the manufacturer of the card, so that's probably not a good start.

Another surefire option is to boot from a live linux CD and either run an auto-removal program or delete the corrupting files manually. Works every time.

If you've got windows re-installed and you can get online using an ethernet connection, you could load pcwizard to find out what kind of wireless card you have, and then go download the driver.

I have no connections available to me whatsoever. Grr. I was mentioned to look on the wireless card itself, so I might give that a go.
    I hate faulty computers!
