Yep, i remember the Spurs were looking good a couple yrs ago in that western conference game until Zaza Pachulia recklessly stepped underneath Kawhi and made him re-sprain his ankle

Or Danny Green snagging Klay's leg causing the hamstring pull this time around. At least in volleyball there's a net to separate the teams and even then most players get injuries. 200-300 lb men running and jumping as fast and high as they can full contact is going to produce contact related injuries whether the contact was intentional or not as well as non contact ones from simply landing or jinking wrong. To win you have to be both very good and very lucky or at least be no more unlucky than the other team. Foul calls are supposed to protect the players but when players manipulate the rules to draw fouls by creating contact that protection is voided. Flopping is supposed to be a penalty but even though some are well known for it it doesn't get called, ever, even though the league has the option to do so upon review after the game is over with the same suspension penalty for multiple technicals. This is how we end up with talented players like Harden worrying more about getting to the line than making shots. It's both ugly and increases the threat of injury since they are trying to initiate contact rather than avoid it and makes it that much more difficult for the refs to sort out. Toronto deserved to win but would they without Kawhi and 2 other starters out with injury? Part of the game. You hope to avoid that and field your best players but it doesn't always work that way. Congratulations to Toronto for winning and the Warriors for fighting to the end.

Klay doesn’t get hurt I’m pretty sure there would have been a Game 7. Then it’s a coin toss.

We've had a crazy free agent period and nobody chimes in?! I thought we were NBA fans here.

What I've got out of FA... the East is all but guaranteed to go to Milwaukee... and the West still goes through the Bay Area. KD might be missed but not required.

2020 preview: Lebron still wont do crap in LA, PG and Kwahi will clash on the other team in town, Houston will implode and BKN will miss the playoffs. Orlando might just win a playoff series for the first time in a decade as well.

    What say you guys?

It's the off season, I'll wait until they actually play some games and even then wait some more.

Tom Tolbert (ex-Warrior) said today that due to Free Agency, the Warriors fell to Number 3 in the West behind the Clippers and the Lakers. But, the Warriors arn't done, by the looks of it.

I’m an OKC fan, but I’m still rooting for Russ to win a championship no matter where he is

It will be rough for while, but I think it will pay off in the long run. Presti knows what he’s doing

I think I'm the only one in the world who believes KD is the reason OKC didnt get their ring that year. RW had 52 in a losing effort. Yes both can be ball hogs... but remember you have to get more than points to score a triple-double.

I'll say the same thing I say every year; Fuck Lebron. He's got a pretty good supporting cast this year. My Warriors look pretty bad right now. Rebuilding year, I guess. Then again, Fuck the NBA. Let them all go to China to play. And stay!
