Any NBA fans in here?

Going to the game tonight so I'm hoping we can get it going.

We should have won that first game. 6-28 on 3's....are you kidding me?! It won't happen again and we should run away with the rest of this series.

 

Thunder fan but expectations are low

 

We have been shooting 3s very poorly since all star break. It came down to Murray missing that jump shot. We easily could have won.

 

Complacency. Up 30, you think it's over. It's a whole new Series now. Clippers are charged up. Warriors are without Cousins. I've been a Warrior fan since 1979 and have been happy to see them win lately, but I don't care so much this year. The Team got so political, I couldn't enjoy it. Kerr, mostly, but Curry was right there with Durant. Anyway, even without Cousins I think they can pull it off, but they're gonna have to eliminate a lot of turnovers, and fouls.

 

Annnnd now they go back to playing like their usual selves... man that was sloppy.

 

21 points in 1 quarter after going 0-8. Jamaal Murrays entire career summed up in one game.

Not the same spurs but yea I give you guys more credit than he does. I could easily see you guys taking this series. We have lost 15 games straight or something in your house.

 

Believe me - as a 35 year old Nuggets fan, I know all too well what Popovich and the Spurs are capable of. They've caused me a massive amount of heartbreak and I've never wanted to punch someone in their big fat nose as much as I did Manu but I always had a ton of respect for the franchise and their successes (often at our expense).

That being said, this isn't the same Nuggets that y'all have been playing for the last 20 years either. Outside of a couple of guys going on runs, we've shot the ball like absolute dog shit in these first two games and still should have won both of them. If we get our nerves out of the way and shots start falling, I think we're the better team and we'll show it.

Good luck to you though. I'm hoping for a good series but that we can exorcise our Spurs demons and start a run that envies the one you guys have been on for 20 years.

 

Well all I can say is we’ll see tonight! Always had respect for the nuggs. All I know is the reg season went 2-2 and spurs are playing with a roster that was written on toilet paper.

 

Barton is really hurting us.

 

Well another loss for us at your house. Toilet paper? You got Aldridge, DeRozen and Mills. All starters that have way more experience and skill than almost our entire team. All we have is very young talented inconsistent players including our all star.

I love Billy Donnovan... but I knew he wouldn't be cut out doe the NBA.

He is like many coaches where their philosophy is only good for college ball. We had a great time with him at UF.

 

I agree, great college coach. It just takes a lot to keep nba egos under control.
