Only if Kerr can draw up a plan to get him open more. Right now Houston defense is shutting him down. And maybe his dislocated finger on his non-shooting hand is bothering him more than he's saying. But for Durant and Green, this series would be over.

Can't argue with that given the way they are playing right now. Boston isn't a pushover and they are handling them like it's a walk in the park.

Warriors lose Boogie and now Durant. No easy road this time. Klay looked good but now it's back on Steph's shoulders again. At least with this win they guarantee a home game 7 so if KD's calf injury really is minor maybe he can play then but it's not much time. I'd rather he didn't travel back to Houston.

Better known for his mouth than his brain but some really good teams in both conferences this time around.

If KD is actually down and out. This finals is up for grabs.

So, they are calling Durants injury a mild calf strain. We shall see. No KD tonight in Houston. Should be interesting if Curry can pick up the slack. Seemed he shifted gears after the loss of KD in game 5, and actually started looking like regular season Curry. Warriors will need that to win in Houston.

Sounds like he'd be back if the conference finals go 6 or 7 but not for this series. By then both he and Boogie might come back but I'm not assuming the dubs'll still be around then. It's going to take either a huge team effort or a legendary performance to replace KD's contribution and get past the Rockets.

Yeah, some game. I knew they had a chance but wasn’t expecting a win. It’s huge.

    No more crying about luck.
I hope this puts to rest the notion that Houston would absolutely have won last year if CP3 were healthy. It's not about who you don't have on the floor, it's all about what the players you still have do. The Warriors, both then and now, proved in the only way that matters that they are the better team. To borrow from another Oakland owner Al Davis, "Just win baby!"

Houston would have won THIS year had they played like it meant something... I mean you had a team minus their best player AND you held their best shooter to 0 points in the first half. All you had to do is play like you're in the 3rd round of a mortal kombat boss and finish them.

I knew HOU was in trouble when it was tied at the half... all your best players on the court and they had bench players... and managed to keep it close. They deserved to lose.

I'm all in for MIL going forward.

They have bonofied 3 super stars. Really only two needed to be champs. I did not expect rockets tp win that series.

Side note why they playing my nuggs at 130 on mothers day!

It's because GS plays team ball. Rockets play harden ball. Him and Westbrook wont wim championships playing that style.

    This.
Every analyst I watched on YouTube said the warriors had no bench depth and the starters would need to all play 40+ minutes each. Bench dropped 33 on Houston. Every guy on the team stepped up and played hard the minutes they were on the floor including Jordan Bell who's been in the doghouse since forever. Kerr admitted he hadn't been using his bench much this postseason but when he asked, they answered. I still think the game was in Houston's grasp but Harden's legacy may boil down to a phenomenal talent but not a closer with only 1 shot in the final 8 minutes of the game and CP3 holding the ball most of their poseessions at the end. Harden is still young enough to rewrite that story but each opportunity missed is another mark on the wrong ledger.
So my mom can watch your team in relaxed comfort(her mother lived in Denver).
Last year the Rockets were up 3-2 when CP3 went down, could still have won but missed 27 straight 3's. Nobody expected the Rockets to win but the opportunity was there, they were there, it was all right there for the taking and they let it slip away then and again this year. At some point the Warriors will be beaten, the other team will seize the moment instead, that's sports. No Durant, no Boogie, CP3 and Harden went toe to toe against the splash brothers and outscored them by 2 points but with a big donut for Steph in the first half that should have been 20, a blowout win and a game 7 at Oracle. To be called champion you have Carpe the Dium. Games 5&6 were thigh high inner half low 90's fastballs and Houston wiffed on both.

Both teams looked tired at the end. Congratulations to Portland, a few buckets or free throws either way, some key rebounds, too much Mccollum.

I’m a huge Mavs fan! I hope it’s Warriors and Toronto in the finals. I like Portland but I think the Warriors have to much offensive power but Portland size could create problems. Giannis is a beast and he’s becoming one of my fav players in the league. Enjoy the playoffs gents!

Blazers/Warriors split win loss against each other during reg season, but playoff bball is a whole different animal. And to think local sports talkers were suggesting trade McCollum at the end of last season. I was gladly wrong about the Nuggets series. Hope Portland can make it tough for them at the very least.

Leonard just earned all of my respect. Was not a ball hog, clutch when it mattered, and gave god all the glory when they won. MIL is a better team but I will put all my support with TOR.

    Congrats to POR as well.
