Really want to upgrade/downgrade depending on how you look at it from my 2010 Tundra to a new tacoma. Sadly our options here in Canada for taco's are rather slim unless you want a TRD sport, when our southern counterparts have better options to choose from.

Anyways, curious if they have released any information on what cab/tranny setups will be available for 2017. I'm hoping to be able to get a MT DCLB but would settle for a DCSB in the offroad edition as I would like to have the atrac and locker. Pretty sure I am not the only one in this position either.

Hopefully someone has some news, or something.

Toyota has loosely confirmed that the TRD Pro is coming to Canada in 2017. It only comes as a dcsb so I would think that means we are getting that configuration finally. You might have to pay TRD Pro pricing though to get it

Yeah I saw that the other day as well. At least it is a step in the right direction. They did the same thing with the 2nd gens too if I remember correctly. As more of us bitched at them they started to release the models that were always available in the US.

AS for buying a TRD PRo, not a chance, I can put better suspension, tires and lights on the truck and probably have money left over for beer and a better ride. Although that cement colour is rather eye catching.

It might be TRD Pro or no DCSB in Canada though. I wouldn't be surprised if toyota gave us that shafting long and hard.

    Yeah it is rather annoying.

I'm just praying for a 6sp MT in TRD offroad in some sort of DC option.

As dealers, we are begging Toyota Canada for this option. No official word on it though.

I can confirm that the 2017 Limited's will atleast be getting a power drivers seat, if not both front seats.
