I used to smuggle my PC parts into the house, and wait till she was sleeping to perform upgrades.

 

Yeah those aren't as bad as my radios. But that's also one of those cases where I just be upfront and honest and wait for the Wrath as I tell her I'm buying it

 

That might be an option for the gpu.

Although I had to cave. So really I'm assuming I'll want to upgrade the mobo and gpu at the same time.

I flew around for about 20 minutes with the screens displaying the same image and then finally figured out that I needed to do a custom resolution to get a single wide monitor display.
Tomorrow I need to play with the field of view to get the ratio where I want it as the three monitors being the dash doesn’t leave much outside visibility.

Trying to push 100hz at 1080 in war zone is working my RX580 pretty good, how hot is too hot?

Ive also never seen VRAM utilization go above 100%.

95C is generally the highest you want to go/sustain. Though most cards have a max operating temp of 110C or so I think.

 

Yeah I try to never let my cards get above 80C. I run a super aggressive fan curve, though. I think my 2060 averages around 60-65c under load but it's also a cool running card.

Made some compromises with the purchasing due to my toys being bought all on OT and that's been dried up until planes start flying again. But hopefully it gets me going for now.
