I'll stick to my WRT3200ACM for now. I thought that was a little pricey for a router when I bought it.

Maybe using it for your operating system wouldn't be the best, but it's worth the risk as a strictly gaming drive especially if you were using a spinner before.

Aren't there only a handful of storage manufactures in the world? Most are just rebranded, no?

It's cheaper, faster than spinner storage :notsure: If I had a need for more storage or wanted BF2042, I'd jump on it. Doesn't have to be top of the line to be a good deal. People buying on a budget exist too, yo.

Just went with the Asus TUF Gaming B550M with wifi mobo and the NZXT 510 case. building this thing at a snail's pace but it'll be under $750 (for the computer by itself)

saw temps arent necessarily the best with it but I dont do much...and this PC build currently doesnt even have a GPU. . .just an APU. I figured worst case down the line I add a fan or 2 but for now, I'm going with the dual exhaust for negative pressure and doubt I'll have issues.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Lian Li o11 air mini? I think i'm going to snag it whenever it becomes available to finally upgrade from my prebuilt cyberpowerpc/phanteks case.

i dont trust WD drives, had many fail in the 2000's. not sound logic but it tarnished the brand in my mind. Loving the new crucial ssd i put in my i5 thinkpad, its like a new laptop now.

I've ran wd drives before, they were fine other than actual speeds were mediocre compared to other brands, i think its mostly lottery when it comes to getting a good one. I've had top of the line samsung drives fail on me but ide still buy them over anything else

I've had dozens of WD drives, only had 2 die on me. One probably being my fault. Seagate was never a good brand for me.

Jinxed myself. The WD Passport I've had forever just quit on me. I think it's about 10 years old with 3300+ hours on it. Luckily I was only using it as a boot drive.
