    I should’ve gone with the 5700xt when I bought my RX580 in December/January.
Depending on what my priorities at the end of the year I may bump up depending on what the new gen stuff performs like.

What sort of goodness is going in there? That's an awesome idea for use of under the stairs. As long as there is good ventilation of course.

That all looks like DDR4. Just snag some Crucial Ballistix and throw it in there. the QVL is just defining what's tested to work, it doesn't mean that other memory won't work. I never pay much attention to those lists when building.

Nothing special, just found an inexpensive way to use some unused space.

Especially on the Z270 platform. Most DDR4 was launched and tested on that configuration so I wouldn't sweat throwing just about anything in there. Personally I'd just select the cheapest decent name ram available. They are all really made by SK Hynix or Samsung, don't pay for branding.

True true. because unless you lock all the cores at lets say 4.7 on a 8700k for example it will never actually boost to 4.7 and hold it on its own. it always just sits around 3.7 under any load.

I'm still laughing that the pre-production 10900K draws over 300 watts of board power without being overclocked.

Thanks. I have Crucial RAM in my PC at home but it's DDR3 so I can't swap it over to test this other machine.

    Thanks :)
