    Hey Everybody!

Does anyone have a recommendation for an aftermarket alarm system for '06Tacos? Dealership offered theirs for $612 but thought there might be better equipment at a better price. Thanks in advance!

Viper alarm system w/ Remote start, Eclipse AVN5435 DVD/Navig system with Audiovox Backup Camera,09+ Tailgate Handle, Audiovox Head Rest units, EBC brake rotors, Weathertech Floor Liners, Power Inverter in Cabin
I really recommend the VIPER alarm system with the remote start! I have that in my taco and love it :D , I got my for $500.00 installed. The only thing is that if you want the remote start you need an extra key to bypass the original truck alarm since the keys have a chip inside and that’s the only way you can start them. This alarm is a two way page so if your truck gets hit it will send you a warning to the control.

im not sure if every dealership has the same alarm but i got the one they offered the silencer and its worth it theres really now way to steal the car and drive away with it the only way to steal the car is to tow it i also got the gps tracking system they offered on my truck i can go online and see exactly where my truck is at

viper alarms are a very good company i have had them before no complaints but i also would recomend the toyota alarm because it is designed for specific models its not universal like the viper ones i just think it will be less problems

Awesome! Thank you very much for your suggestions. I plan to hook up my Hot Taco...and I'd like to keep it awhile! :)
