Just curious if there are any other standup paddlers on Oahu..

If so, maybe a meet up/BBQ at the beach.. good downwind run...

The family goes out almost every weekend.. A neighbor and I do 4-5 mi. runs down and upwind.. oh yea.. I try to surf my SUP as well....

I know a few stand up paddlers. I don't get it myself though.

Surfing your SUP can be a bit harder cause you gotta get going rather than the wave giving you your momentum.

But there is something awesome about doing a 6 mi run, being 100-200 or so yds off shore and seeing a different perspective.. couple of weeks ago, had a whale come up about 75 yds from us in Waianae.
