I've looked on various forums, searches, Ebay, you name it. Seems like all of the consoles came out of either standards or floor-shift autos. I'm wanting to swap out the 60/40 for 4Runner buckets, but I'm wanting to find out a few things first.

Was the center console available on column-shift models? I only have a small console just below the dash with a square catch-all pocket and two cupholders. I'd like the center console with the padded armrest, but they all seem to tie in to a front shifter section.

Also, do the 4Runner seats tilt forward? I'd still like easy access to the rear of my extended cab. Can't remember if there were 2dr 4Runners. I've read that the '98 4Runner seats will bolt in with only one bracket needing modification, but nowhere does it say if it tilts forward. I'd rather not have to swap out the tracks, I don't have easy access to a welder.
