It would be nice to have a light under the hood. Any ideas?

I am thinking of doing something similar to this 4Runner mod with LEDs: Photos from post #27 in thread:

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
I use LED strip lighting (like in the pics) all over the place. Inside the shell and under the hood are my two places right now, with plans to add some in the wheel wells (rock lights) and around the outer edges of my rack on my shell (area lighting outside......for camping).
    It's really super-simple.

Get a pin switch from your local parts store. Find a place that has a good ground to mount (I replaced one of the bolts holding my driver's side headlamp). Clean the LED mounting location enough that you feel comfortable having an infant lick it (as in, fucking clean!)......my mounting location is identical to the ones in your pics. Make sure that when you run your wire, you give it plenty of extra run at the hood hinge. Connect the positive directly to the battery (fused!), and the negative to the pin switch.

I'll try to get some pics up of my install.

The light output is incredible. I have enough light under the hood at night to feel like I'm working at noon with no clouds.

I'll ask the service adviser the next time I bring it in for something.

I'm wanting to start installing lights under hood since I can only wrench in evenings for the most part. Can anybody recommend a good power strip as a starting point?
