Anybody have any knowledge of 60's - 80's oldsmobile V8 knowledge

I know this is a tacoma forum, but i desperately need advice and help with my project car because oldsmoblie specific forums a.) suck, and b.) i cannot post in them for some odd reason, ive contacted admins and have gotten no response so i hope to find help from other enthusiasts on here.

I have a 1987 oldsmobile cutlass supreme 2 door with an engine swap, it has an oldsmobile 350 rocket v8 out of a 1978 oldsmobile delta 88. Now, the rocket 350 HAD air conditioning but after the swap into my cutlass supreme, i decided to delete if for the performance gain AND i did not want to retrofit it. SO, i now need to relocate my alternator to the passenger side of the engine because i keep getting the horrid belt V squeal because the load of the V belts is completely on the drivers side of the engine with the power steering pump and the alternator. the belts are new and tight (gates belts, not junk dayco) but i do not want to tighten anymore dude to not wanting to burn out the waterpump pully. to attempt to compensate for this, I FINALLY found the super expensive passenger side alternator bracket from an older 60's ~ 70's oldsmobile V8 ($100 friggin bucks) from my local swap meet this past weekend. it will bolt right onto my rocket 350 BUT my potential problem there in lies is i think my alternaor pully will now be riding in the pully groove where the powersterring pump is now. so in that case... what do i do now?? what pulley do i need to get, and do i need a new waterpump with a longer neck?? im a my wits end there, help with this matter will be highly appreciated, thanks!
