and the final answer as to if the Duratrac will fit on my truck

    No

When pressed as to why they would fit on some trucks and not others, I spoke directly to the guy who runs the place. He said they see it all the time, Chevy's are real bad for it, what will fit on one truck won't fit on another.

So if you have an 09 Mexican built Sport, they may not fit on yours either. Those cleats on the side just hang out too far.

Maybe just as well, I liked the BFG's on my old full size Dodge, and have heard complaints about having to rebalance the Duratracs.

worked on my 09 SR5 single cab.

looks like it goes both ways for duratracs and BFG's i hear people have trouble balancing both. prob cause they expect a tire with big treads to ride like a street tire.

so if you want these tires expect them to roll in tight corners, be loud, and ride a little rough on the pavement.

    just being real. :)

Starting an old thread again. I like the tires for their winter rating (only want one set, not swap for winter). I have received good reviews from many but undecided on the stock size P265/65R17 or going up to P265/70R17. Anyone one else with Duractrac's on a completely stock Tacoma? Mine is a 2012 Sport Access cab and I have no intention of lifting the truck and don't want to trim anything.

Great for winter, terrible for wet traction and balancing. They do last a long time, but that just means you have to deal with them even longer. I've had them for about 3 years.

I am debating between KO2's and Duratrac's...I have been for some time. The KO2's are just way too pricey, IMO.

I'm in the same boat, looking to swap out the rugged trails for a better AT tire. I'd like to go with the KO2s but they only come in E loading for the 265/70-16 size, which is probably overkill for a Tacoma. The only other option is the Duratrac in this case, unless there's others I'm missing? I noticed the Duratrac in that size isn't listed as either a P or LT tire.

I just installed 265/70/17 Duratracs on stock 2015 DCSB OR. Have some minor rubbing on the mudflaps, just haven't removed them yet. Mostly the front mini flap when going out of a driveway and the regular front mudflaps on tight turns. Everything else seems fine so far.

2010 Sport 4x4 acc cab., stock suspension w/ 265/70/17 duratracs. no rubbing, no issues. 55,000 miles on them now. They are slick in wet conditions, did pretty good the first 3 winters, but i am looking at snow tires now to put on steelies, will put the duratracs back on in the spring/summer and try and get another 20,000 out of them.

That's a lot of miles on your Duratracs! I didn't know you can get that much out of them...good to know...thanks! Still debating between the Duractracs and the KO2's right now.

Not to the beat the dead horse, but I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of TRD Beadlocks. Any issues running these wheels with 265/75/16's on stock suspension?
