if you want power go with a turbo, look online, turbo charged tacomas perform much better than supercharged. i got a small one off of a 3.0 still trying to decide best way to install. supercharger eats your HP, you may gain 65-90 HP with a stock trd. the SEMA TRD claiming 408hp with a TRD supercharger is not realistic. nitrous on any vehicles of course kick a$$ but unless your really careful you can do some damage pretty quickly. considering the outrageous cost i'd look into turbo, just my opinion.

    cheers,
    disco

    Some stuff...
I would say SC over the bottle. I'd like a little more power too, but realistically I probably won't even pull the trigger on a SC. If I wanted speed I'd probably be rolling in a Z06, but that's not gonna get me up the mountain to my favorite fishing & camping spots.

I run a 75 shot of nitrous in my 2008 Taco. Everything is stock. I've been through (4) 10 pound bottles. No issues. I just use it periodically in the dunes. It makes a noticeable difference. I'm considering bumping up to 100 shot, but it seems there are very few people running NOS on a stock 4.0L motor. I'm not sure the motor can handle much more without building it up.

I will say Nitrous is fun BUT if you are wanting more power all the time your best bet is to get something else.
I run it on my camaro and with a 150 shot it only lasts 15 seconds(this is a 10 pound bottle). It makes a HUGE amount of torque and it only comes on like you down shifted(not like how fast and furious makes it seem)
