Anybody else having rust issues with RCI's powder coating?

Bed rack is only about 6mo old, and its starting to develop a "rash", and when looking closely at it (as well at discoloration on paint), it looks like rust.

Haven't mounted anything in that area that would rub/wear out coating.

Any suggestions on what to treat it with to stop/seal rust spots, short from sanding it, and having to rattle can the whole piece?

    Thoughts?

    Thank you!

I recently started having this issue and it's spread and cracked - seems like the powdercoat is failing around the edges and water/air is getting underneath and creating rust. a year later, what does your rack look like? Was anything able to stop it/ did you have anything done to it?

Weather has been fairly dry here this past year...

Cant imagine what it be if we had normal amount of rain...

Havent done anything to it, reached out to RCI (for suggestions) a while back and was totally ignored.

There are other spots that are starting to show same amount of rust, so I'll probably just have to sand down and paint one of these days.
