can't say about the cost - depends on if the person doing it has the license for your ecu or not - if not they have to purchase a license for that specific ECU. If they already have the license then that is a discussion to have via DM. It helps those with the license to know before hand what your model year is and if it is AT, MT and what if any TSB's you have had done. Without this information they are initially shooting in the dark.

Hey yall. I am tuning in Denver area, just got @barnburner3 dialed in and he’s stoked. Ran the current 04BO4 on tech stream then flashed to Matt’s 2.0 tune. Please shoot me a pm if interested, and if possible provide your ECU and specs (tires, gears, etc). I am charging $250 and will re tune however much you want for free after that.

I’ll be out of town sunday-tbd but PM me and we can schedule something. Cheers yall and happy holidays!

I highly recommend working with Adam @MGMSangTaco - really easy to work with, answered all my questions, and just a good dude! Getting my ECU up to speed and loading Matt's tune took all of 30 minutes and makes a phenomenal difference. The truck just feels so much smoother and operates how it should with the benefit of more power where you want it.

Just got my truck tuned last night by Adam, if your on on the fence about doing this, I suggest it, it made a night and day difference the way my truck drives now. My only regret is I wish I did the 70,000 miles ago.

    thanks Adam!

Thank you Ben! Was also a pleasure. Always nice meeting people in this community and hearing how much better the truck drives after tuning. Toyota should just hire Matt as a lead engineer, they should drive like this from the factory. Cheers!

I only have unlocked AT’s so far cause there’s more demand for our stupid shift points etc. If there’s more interest I’ll unlock some MT’s though.

If you unlock the MT’s let me know. I’m up in FoCo like @splashflash. Maybe we could knock out both if you’d be willing to roll up here. 2018 MT, 4.30, 265/75/16.

Super happy with the tune from MGMSangTaco! I definately understand why anyone who's done it is super happy with it. MGMSangTaco is a standup dude and made it quick and easy and Ifeel like Ihave a whole new truck. Thanks man!

    reposting from another thread:

Throwing another review out there for people who might be debating getting the tune. Adam is a stand-up dude and was able to meet up yesterday to get the tune loaded in very short order. Adam clearly explained what tunes could be loaded and what some alternatives were (e.x. MooseDitty's M+W). I have a 2017 DCSB TRDOR, and I went with the OVT 2.0 minus gear locking and enhanced throttle response, and it was pretty noticeable already. What I would call the "lurchiness" of the truck under acceleration has basically disappeared and it feels like the engine runs about 500 rpm below what it used to. It feels like the truck is driving with ECT always on. If anything, I need to retrain myself to not be scared of the accelerator. Haven't gotten a chance to test it on the highway yet but I've got a ski trip this Saturday and I'm excited to put it to the test. A final benefit is that he offers unlimited retunes in the future, which is great since it turns out I live 5 minutes away from him. Thanks again Adam!

I’d like to get an OVTune done to my truck. 2019 DCSB Limited. Completely stock with no work done other than the two latest recalls and cosmetic changes.
Who is near me in Thornton and how much will it cost me?

By the way... Barcelona Red is the BEST color!! Fits my personality!!

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is still performing this tune in the Littleton or surrounding area. I'm near AHS and willing to travel somewhat to make it happen.

2017 TRD OR AT with only cosmetic mods.

    Thanks in advance!
