I had Line-X sprayed in the bed of my 07 Tundra when it was brand new. It held up so good that I had the interior of my fishing rig done. Made it much quieter and had great traction to walk on. Just wish it wasn't so damn expensive.

Not gonna lie, I like the looks of it. Some folks on here are not fans but, knowing me and how hard I am on stuff and how I hate scratches on my truck it makes sense, It is kinda idiot proof. My 3 cents.

Only concern would be it fading but, I live in Iowa. We don't get the super son but, we get all manner of weather.

Nope, won't fade. LINE-X Xtra is aliphatic (very fade resistant). In addition, LINE-X dealers can also add a polyaspartic coating on top of the Xtra making it REALLY durable and fade resistant. (The red Tacoma does not have the polyaspartic coating but it does have Xtra.)

I've become obsessed too... Doing the wheel wells is a great idea. I had thought about trying to make my own bed liner mud flaps but im not sure if they would work. Here's what I was thinkin.... Remove stock flaps and cut out a piece of fabric to match the same size, place the fabric on them and starch the fabric. Then cut holes where the fabric would attach to the wheel wells, and then put a few coats of bed liner on em. Thoughts? I'm not sure they'd hold up but my be worth a try.

Anyways here's what I've bed lined on my truck....

Any automotive shop. Even Walmart sells it. It's about $8 a can. Supposedly decent stuff too.

I haven't used it yet but I have plans to soon. I'll like it at first. Just a little recreational use. I'll use a little more, then a little more... Next thing you know, I'll have lost my job, my house, my family. But I'll have a sweet truck!:)

I work for a major protective coatings manufacturer and I can tell you that we spray ANYTHING. My truck only had the bed, rockers and bumpers sprayed but the sky is the limit. If you have a hardcore trail rig the whole body is the way to go, it can look sharp if its done right. It doesn't have to be black either.;)

Just dont get confused with $8 can of "bedliner" spray and a LINE-X job

Just had my bed on my 00 dont the other day and makes the truck look brand new

I would recommmend ROLL ON for thickness and texture

Yep, LINE-X is not a DIY product and it's significantly more durable than the stuff you can buy at the store. I've seen lots of stuff coated with bedliner products, but this is the first time I've seen (portions of a) Retrax cover with it!

I have no confusion. I'm fully aware of the difference both in quality and cost. If the $8 rattle cans or $50 roll ons did just just as good of a job as a $500+ job, those guys would have gone out of business a long time ago.

That's not to say that the DIY products don't have an appropriate time and place.

Isnt Line-X kinda hard to clean that truck looks sick as hell but like how hard is it to get it cleaned up after a days worth of offroading?

It's much easier to clean LINE-X with Xtra than standard LINE-X.
