Anyone had the steering wheel apart on a 2012?

I ordered a cruise control for a 2012 from Rostra and the instructions are for the 2011. How do you remove the side panels on a 2012 steering wheel?

Thats a face palm haha. Maybe they sent you the 2011 one by mistake? You can always go to a dealership and ask, I'm sure they will show you how. Or call Rostra and ask about it.

 

Called Rostra before I ordered, they said cruise is the same but have not updated instructions yet. Hate not having cruise, everything else is the same, just a different steering wheel to take apart.

 

I would hate to be with out my cruise control . I hope everything works out. I don't have a truck yet, let alone a 2012 haha so I cant be much help, sorry .

But try PM'ing one of the 2012 guys, maybe they can send you some pictures or something. If not I would just go to the dealership and see if they have a break down of the steering wheel you can look at.
