    few things here and there.
    Hey y’all.

Curious if any of y’all are running the ol’ pizza cutters and wouldn't mind uploading a photo of your rig?

Can’t seem to find many Tacos running them, I know the thicker style is more desired. However, I’m on a 2” lift running 265/75/r16’s and it almost looks like I skipped leg day. It LOOKS like I can fit a 285/75r16, but I fear control arm rub would be in my future, since I’ll be sticking with the stick rim. So, I am debating getting the 255/85’s.

Anyway, I’d love to see how the 255/85’s look! Thanks

Love my 265/75's on my 2' Lift, but wish Duratracs came in a 33" 255!

They fit stock suspension, much less a 2 inch. You’ll be fine if you don’t mind driving on a MT tire cause that’s all they come in.
Except I think cooper makes a “at”, you might like that one, otherwise it’s AT. I’m actually in the process of trying to fit 285s simply because I can get a bfg at. But I’m not sure it’s going to work rn for me. I emailed bfg telling them to make a 255 in their AT and it would sell and I’d be the first to buy lol

No, that's the big reason for this tire size. Worst I had was an occasional rub on the inner fender, but even that was only at one turn angle and with compression.at the front of the wheel well.

I don't do hard core off road, but we did some trails with steep climbs and loose rocks and I did fine. To be fair, none of the other mildly modified trucks had problems either.

I had the st's, which I think are really more of a snow tire. They did make some noise on pavement, and the tread life wasn't great. I think I replaced them at about 40k.
I would get the st Maxx if I got another set.

My only qualm with this size is they are expensive af but I think I’m still going to get them anyways.

    Yep, that's what they are.

They are phenomenal. Tough as hell. Grip for days. I folded the sidewall over on a tricky descent in The Maze and had to stay that way as I slowly crawled down the ledge. Tires were totally fine, not a scratch.

They're excellent. Pricey (over 2,000 for 5, even with a military discount), and in this size you can only get MT's, though Cooper says the ST Maxx's are a hybrid.

The most capable Tacoma I know runs Cooper Discoverer's (in a 315 35" form) as well.

I have 255/80s on 17s and really like them. Toyo AT3’s. I would highly reccomend. Can’t comment on 255/85s other than saying you might not have many options depending on who even produces that size. Toyo might, Falken probably does, and cooper maybe.
