I have these steps too and agree they are high quality product.

    PROS:
    - They also protect against door dings from cars.
    - Great for kids.
    - Nice to have a step the full length of the cab to access/reach on the roof easily.
    - Non slip texture

    CON:
    - As I get out of the truck, my leg hits/rubs against the textured aluminum - very uncomfortable. **If you are taller than 6'0, you shouldn't expierence this problem (I'm 5'8). This bothers me enough to be trying to sell them and get the NFAB option above. (I have similar NFAB's on my 4Runner and love them)

Off Topic, but Aussiek2000 those are BA rims. What are they? Ive been "window" shopping for rims for about a year waiting until I have enough money, and until i find the ones i like. I LOVE THESE!

I'm 5"6" and have encountered this occasionally, I guess i've gotten used to stepping over them.

These mount to the rocker panel same as the OEM/Aftermarket boards. I would NOT recommend jacking on these! Use only frame mounted sliders (or the like) for jacking.

Idk if anyone has heard of AMP Research power running boards, but when I get enough money, I am shooting for these. My father in law has them on his chevy and it makes anything to do with clearance a non issue, and the worst thing that has happened in the 4 years since he has owned it, is the motor went out. it's a $60 part, and 15 min job to replace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKdHy7u-GoE

Just relaying what the manufacturer said. I wouldn't do it regularly, but good to know that it's a possibility in a pinch.

I have the N-Fab stainless steel ones, like the looks on the black truck however I was disappointed in Quality of the build as they were made in China. The tubes were advertised as being made in the USA in a Texas plant with a 7 week delay. The steps were welded on at a angle that caused my wife's foot to slip into the bar and get caught between the bar and step. I contacted the supplier about the problem and was given a $50 rebate to bend the straight since they were installed and not returnable. They looked like toolsheds (post 6) same slight bend/tip downward that also added to the wind noise.
