I've recently began to look into switching out my stock headlights for some HID lights. I'm currently thinking about buying this HID kit for 5000k bulbs. Has anyone had any experience with these before? According to the reviews they seem to be good quality. Would I have any problems with police down here in Texas?

I was also reading through the lighting FAQ and it mentions that you should get a proper projector lens as opposed to a reflector lens. Would it be necessary to look into that for this conversion kit? My taco is a 2008 btw. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
