I just my my new 2010 yesterday and first impressions are great however it has the worst stereo i have ever heard for a stock car or truck. I was going to wait a few months on this but i can't stand it and it needs to be updates asap.

I will be putting JL XR-653 3-ways up front, JL 6.5 C2's in the rear and powering them off a JL HD600/4 amp. I'd like to run 2 13TW5's in the rear off a JL HD750/1 amp. Mount the subs on either end and mount the amps in the center between them.
I will also be running an alpine iva-w505 headunit with all the bells and whistles, sirius radio, nav, back up cam, etc etc

I have a car audio shop and website (jsenclosures.com) aside from my day job so this stuff will be a breeze for me to fab up and install. Just wondering what you guys think if you are running 2 13tw5's and what your setups look like.

Just looking for pics to see what others have got, and how you like them. Personally i like only a little bit of bass but this will be a show truck and needs to pound hard!

I think there are a ton of you feeling like this. The solution for you guys is the Stereo Integrity BM subwoofer. It fits in a smaller space (.5 cubic feet) and displaces more air and sounds better. Not only that, but it's over $100 less. I'd encourage checking them out.

I'm gonna stick with jl but thanks for the recommendation. I'll either be going with 13tw5's or 10w3v3's. I like the idea of the slims so they can sit up higher.

I personally like the Fosgate Shallow Mount P3s, but the JLs are good just overpriced IMHO.

Put some watts to it. I run 2 a 600 RMS at 2ohms and it thumps - with a Fosgate amp. Just as good if not better than 1 JL per some installers.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
The SI's are pretty sick especially for the price.

Biggest mistake is that people hook things up wrong, or they run the biggest sub in to small of a space. I was guilty of this for the longest time.

Run it at max rms at 2 ohms in a ebay enclosure with a decent amp, properly wired to the battery and enjoy.

thanks Stylion! Yup that looks pretty sick. I'm either going this route or running (3) jl 10w3v3s. still up in the air. Probably gonna stick to the slims tho, if i run (3) tens i will have no room for an amp rack and i'm not a fan of mounting amps under seats (just because it puts them in a good place to get kicked by the rear passengers).

    Thanks
