it's only 200 bucks because it is junk. Stick to the brand names like alpine, kenwood, pioneer etc

    I'd say for 200, it's not a bad buy.
I kind of wonder if car stereos are like TVs...a few manufacturers of components and a bunch of brand purchase them and slap their name and maybe a few features on them...

The components in that HU may very well be many of the same that are used in brand names units.

I hope it works out for ya!

well i got it in last night, required a bit of cutting of my bezel but it fits and operates fine.. i grounded the park wire so i can play movies without engaging the parking brake but i dont know what i would watch anyways so i might not use that. over all im satisfied with the unit but time will tell if it holds up or not ill just have to hang onto everything.

i might play a gratuitous amount of porn on there... that might be interesting lol

Please be sure to update us on how the system is doing.. I'm not much of an audiophile, I just want to be able to hook up Sirius or play a massive amount of MP3s. Video is a bonus. I'm starting to think too that all or alot of the other name brand radio manufacturers use the same OEM systems, like TVs, but just add their own "firmware" of sorts...

I've always found that old saying "you get what you pay for" is usually very true. Good luck with it.
