It says "Plz call 480-212-3091 and leave message". Any legit seller would answer the call. This guy is screening them first.

Same dude. If he's legit, no harm no foul. If there stolen, he's done.

Tailgates are stolen out of dealer lots every night. Pretty stupid posting it on Craigslist if they are stolen.

 

Even a good junkyard would not have all of them on the list. And it still would cost more

 

Let someone try to steal mine. They'll get a 9mm enema. lol

 

at least i got some assurance from the pop and lock i installed the other day.

 

I think he sounds legit. Not many thiefs would know what years exactly the tailgate they stole will fit. he knows the years for all the models and also that you will need to change the bracket in order to mount the new ford tailgate to the older year ford trucks to make them look newer. he also stated that they came off fleet trucks. they probably switched out the tailgates for automatic lifts in the rear. and that he priced the white one cheaper than the rest, thats a common misconception by the general public that white vehicles are cheaper than the others colors. He could be saying leave a message because he's a busy person who always working. No ones even called him and you want to turn him in to the police, at least give the guy a call and see if he sounds like a chronic.

 

It's not turning him into the police unless he is doing something wrong. Millions of dollars of stolen property are sold on Craigslist every day. I simply forwarded the link to some co-workers who specialize in recovering stolen property.

If he's legit, he won't even know he being looked into.
