Ah! Gotcha. I have a few friends who are on colors or task from selling/smoking pot so when I hear drug test, its just what I think of.

Department of Corrections, hell you might meet some of my friends in that line of work! :)

Just a bunch of old crap
Actually I probably know when it happened. I had my sway bar off and took my truck out to the wash between Bartlett Dam Road and Needle Rock. 11 mile run of sand and lots of ups and downs. Got the truck hopping pretty good and at one point slammed the passenger front wheel down hard into a big dip. Hit my tire hard in the fender well and I actually had to get out and check things. It's been wobbly for a bit but it aligns straight as an arrow and the techs didn't see anything bent like a control arm or whatnot. I put my sway bar back on to absorb some of the independent motion. Now, the cv sounds like it has a subtle pulsing grind noise at low speeds and I can feel the front end shimmy just a slight bit. On our last run, I could swear I heard one of the cv joints pop a couple times. I'd rather just swap both of them out and start fresh.

My only other concern is that bearings elsewhere might be affected or something I don't know about. Time to get it on jack stands and start messing with it. Happy birthday to me.

well, the hold that the spring sat in went from being round, to a super torn oval. so maaaybe.

imma clean up the area, and weld/rivet a bracket in.

No worries. Maybe tomorrow. I still think we should all get together tomorrow. I just popped in Mallrats, so I'm not going anywhere either.

That Irish pub is new, and is right off of 83rd Ave and Stadium, just west of 83rd. Right around it is a Bucca di Beppo and a bunch of other restaurants.
