I'm looking to put the front 5100s on my truck. Toytec tells me they have no idea when they'll have some in stock, and Downsouth Motorsports is out of stock until Sept/Oct. Anyone know any other reputable online dealers?

Also, I just read on a post here stating that the rear 5100s, even if adjusted will not raise the rear height, is there any truth to this? (I already have the 4leaf pack)

    Thanks in advance!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Rear shocks aren't adjustable and do not provide lift (unless you have a custom set-up designed for rear coil-overs). They only accomodate for it.

their are online dealers such as shockwarehouse.com and places like that but they haven't had very good reviews. I recommend waiting till downsouth motorsports (where i bought mine) or wheelers has them in stock as they offer TW discounts and have great customer service. To me it was well worth the wait

To add to Ryan's post, I used shockwarehouse when I purchased mine. They didn't notify me about the backorder until I inquired as to why the shocks didn't show up when they were supposed to. The gave me a new delivery date and again they didn't show up. Their price was good, but their customer service blew.

So does that mean that shockwarehouse has the bilstein 5100s backordered also?

I checked, they were not back-ordered. But I didn't think their site was very nice, so im not trusting them with my order haha

I just tried Wheeler's Offroad. They are sold out as well. I wouldn't say my truck will ever get to see 5100s :(

Not trying to persuade you or anything but have you thought about other options for shocks/lift? The bang for the buck is good for them as you, and obviously a lot of other people, have figured out.

I'm not too knowledgeable about lifts. The only two I really looked at was the front spacers, with possibly an AAL or Block (Toytec) in the rear and then the 5100s. I heard bad things about spacers and their ride, and all positive about the 5100s, so naturally I wanted the 5100s. I'm Certainly open to any recommendations. I'm not really looking for anything more than 2.5 in the front level with the rear. I plan on running 265/70/17 BFG ATs on my stock TRD Sport rims, and I dont want empty wheel wells.

If you drive your truck as a daily driver and wants to have a 2.5 inches lift, I suggest wait for the 5100's. They ride better than stock and good on moderate offroad trip. They also easy to install, just read and research about it before you do it. Get them from Downsouth or toytec

Yeah, it's definitely a daily driver, and will never see any offroad as long as I own it. The lift is purely for looks, and I wouldn't mind the better ride. Those are the two dealers I'm waiting on. From what they say, it sounds like Bilstein isn't treating them too well... They say they order 100, and get 40 in, which they say isnt even enough to cover the backorders they currently have.. So it could be a while :(.. I called Shock warehouse today, just to see if they had any in stock, but their customer service was dreadful, so I just hung up.

Try 4wheelparts.com they sell bilstein and they also price match prices. I just recently installed the rear 5100's and bro they ride great. Better in cornering and response better in sudden directional change. I would set it to 1.75 in the front and TSB on the rear, perfect for 265/70/17 and its about level as you can be.

Okay.. Ill check that out. Thanks! I might try some Canadian websites, haha seeing as i'm in Canada. Just a lot more expensive, but I'm desperate. I believe I already have the TSB. I've seen some post saying that the Canadian trucks come from the factory/dealer with the 4leaf pack already installed. If anyone knows for sure, feel free to verify this?

Also, if you change your mind later and wants a bigger tires(Ex: 285/70/17 or 33's), just raise to 2.5 and add AAL in rear then your set. Keep in mind that the higher you get the stiffer the ride. But for a daily driver I stick to 265/70/17 without compromising any gas mileage. Now if your going for the looks then I suggest you go for 285/70/17 tires and set it up to 2.5 inches and add AAL to have a tougher look. Of coarse you have to do some trimming in your front fender not much though.

Just check it your self, it should have 4packs instead of 3 leaf springs.

$402CAD vs $390US (Toytec) Not as bad as I though, give them guys a call tomorrow. I've noticed a lot of sites not stating they are currently sold out online (Then i call and find out they are). I think they're trying to keep business from going else where haha

I checked, but I'm mechanically challenged haha. I know theres 3 long leafs that curve, then a straighter, shorter, thicker one on the bottom.. I assume thats the 4th?

Yep, I figured as much. I have that from the factory then. Now just to get my paws on the elusive 5100s! Thanks a lot for your patience with me lol. Also how do you like your Nitto's? I'm still up in the air between those, BFG ATs, and General Grabbers.
